Creating stylized works are my favorites. I’m always intrigued by the end result because the wood and I have had to learn how to ” get along”, this one and I had a little fuss at first! Quite a few times I just felt like it’s not going to work out.( I have had a couple that wound up in the burn pile). I just keep puttering around and bye and bye it began to look promising.
I’m right pleased how this emerging Rainbow managed to escape the bonds of a Cedar stomp.
This work can be purchased from my SALE GALLERY at Facebook Wiley Trout.
This ten inch Brookie is differently checking out this ” whatever it is”that’s snagged on the end of this branch.

” THE ESCAPE”
Stylized works are among my favorites, I’ve always been intrigued with driftwood. Sometimes I see a fish trying to get out, other times the wood just tells me what it wants to be.This stylized Brown has been one of my most talked about creations, frankly, I don’t even know who owns it now as It was sold out of one the Galleries that feature my works. – Jim Wiley
Over my creative career I’ve done only a few of these presentations, they have , however, been quite popular . This one is probably the last one I’ll do so It’s now part of my PERSONAL COLLECTION.The Brown is about sixteen inches long persueing a little five inch Rainbow.
