Good enough to eat refers to the fly, not the BROOKIE! These “ jewels of the Brook” continue to be my favorite creations. I never caught that many when I was able to fish, but, the few I did catch are permanently etched in my memory. Now, I’m able to catch quite a few in my studio.

This beautiful wood is reviling it’s hidden treasures , Brook Trout and Buckeye are quite a combination.

California Buckeye is a beautiful wood , however it DOES NOT like to be carved. I mostly am able to prevail but not without a fuss. This one, when I convinced it that it was going to be beautiful, gave in. Turned out pretty good, I think, what do you think?
