One of my latest creations, ” Rising Brookie ”
A ten inch Brook Trout jumping for a Mayfly. Created from Tupelo wood and presented on River Driftwood Burl. I like this one so much I’m putting it in my personal collection. ( Update: however , someone liked it even more than me, —- so, it swam away ). Show me the Wheel!
” I’m always chasing Rainbows ” over the years I’ve done several of these that now decorate cabins and dens . My last one was purchased by the Fly Fishing Museum of the Southern Appachlians and is now on display there.
This stylized Brown Trout was created from a piece of Caney Fork River driftwood root. It was just laying there weathering away. When I spotted it, I could see a fish trying to get out so, —– I helped it.
You can own this little beauty by heading over to the Wiley Store and purchasing it today. Give a new loving and appreciative home. It’s calling you .. can’t you hear?
